Background/Rationale

YEI, is a para-church, Non-Governmental Organization established to respond to issues of youth and young adults.  Cognizant of the enormous challenges faced by the youth and young adults, and the need for genuine interventions in addressing those challenges through educational opportunities, skills training, counselling/rehabilitation, recreation, agriculture, etc., in pursuance of our goal of equipping for service to community, with the objective of fostering the spirit of love, peace, togetherness, social justice, and gender inclusion; the Youth Empowerment Initiatives (YEI) exists.
